Structure of the Hybrid Battery
Let us understand the basics of these hybrid batteries before getting to hybrid batteries price in Kenya. At the core of every battery is a cell. In a similar manner hybrid batteries also have cells as their basic unit. These cells are then put together to form what is called a module. The modules are then paired to form blocks and finally the blocks form the battery.
Taking an example of the Toyota Prius, which is the mother of hybrids, 6 cells are put together to form a module as shown below.

Two of these modules are considered as a block and the blocks are put together to form the hybrid battery where for Toyota Prius there are 14 blocks. A Toyota Prius battery structure is therefore made up of 14 blocks, 28 modules, and 168 cells.
